This weekend we decided not to go anywhere, but just to enjoy our home and family. We did some not-so-fun but essential chores on Saturday (cleaned out the garage and the kids' closets), then on Sunday we pitched the tent in the backyard and had a campout. We made burgers on the grill, s'mores on the fire and then tried to sleep in the tent. Susie didn't quite make it, after 10 minutes of going around honking everyone's noses after lights out, I decided she should be taken inside. Sam and Jimmy had a great time in the tent all night, and Susie will get to try it again when she is a little older (the positive for pregnant mama is that I got to sleep on my king-sized pillow-top all alone).
